New York City: September 1-5, 2017

Day 1:  Today we fly into Newark, NJ, where we will be transferred to the Millennium Broadway Hotel and check in for 4 nights. All the excitement of Times Square and the Broadway District are right out our doorstep. Good Morning America is a half block up the street! This evening we will enjoy a delicious included dinner at Heartland Brewery. After dinner the evening will be yours to explore this vibrant area that never sleeps.

Day 2:  This morning we will depart on our tour of New York’s upper east and west sides with a local step-on-guide. We will see Fifth Avenue, Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral just to name a few. We will end back at the hotel where you will have time on your own to grab some lunch before we experience our first Broadway show, TBD closer to tour date. This is a matinee show so your evening is free to do what interests you. Perhaps you will want to attend another Broadway show, do some shopping, or just wonder around this dynamic section of Manhattan!

Day 3:  This morning we will start at the Empire State Building for a bird’s eye view of this vibrant city. We will then pick up our Brooklyn guide for the Brooklyn Pizza Tour. This tour covers Brooklyn, and pizza, from one end to the other. It highlights famous neighborhoods, landmarks, famous movie locations and the most spectacular view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Next, we will ascend to the top of One World Observatory, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere in less than 60 seconds! You will be able to take in iconic sights, surrounding waters, and panoramic views of the skyline. We will return to the Millennium Hotel and you will have the evening free to explore.

Day 4:  This morning we are off to Battery Park where we will catch a ferry to Liberty Island and visit the Statue of Liberty. You may also choose to spend some time visiting historic Ellis Island if you would like. This afternoon you could visit on your own the 9/11 museum. Mid-afternoon we will return to the hotel to refresh before we head out to our 2nd Broadway show, TBD closer to tour date.

Day 5:  A local step-on-guide will join us this morning for a tour of lower Manhattan. This includes neighborhoods such as Little Italy, SoHo, Greenwich Village, and the financial district. We will also visit the 9/11 Memorial. In the afternoon we return to the Newark airport for our flight home.
