CAJUN FUN IN CAJUN COUNTRY

This NEW tour takes us into the most interesting Cajun/Creole country. We are eager to enter the world of the South, maybe with the question: “What is a Cajun?” Culture and history defines today’s Cajun. CONCORDIA DAY TRIP

May 9, 2017  (1 day)  

When the sisters of St. Joseph arrived in Concordia in 1884, one of their first tasks was to build a Motherhouse, which would serve as their convent. We will tour this massive five-story native stone building. We will also visit the National Orphan Train Museum to learn about the many stories of the children that were sent west in hopes of adoption. We will visit the POW Camp and Museum that, at its peak, housed 4,000 German prisoners. Lunch will be included at the Tea House and then a tour of the beautifully restored Brown Grand Theater built in the late 1800’s.   $107pp

ROSE BOWL PARADE TOUR

December 28, 2017- January 5, 2018   

Southern California in the winter…what more needs to be said! The elaborate floats are unbelievable. It is one thing to see them on TV, but to see and smell these glorious creations in person is amazing. We have very nice reserved grandstand seating along the parade route. Includes a tour of L.A., Catalina Island, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo! We drive out but we will fly home. $2,209 pp/dbl
